    Dem candidate Buttigieg finally almost stumped by question at local town hall, but digs out an answer just in time. A bit of a non-answer answer, but most likely will not hurt him in primary race.

    Here's the former South Bend code enforcement director, who left in 2013 after 10 years, just this AM. She's been in NOLA for awhile, I used to sit in meetings with her on nuisance property issues, and she's right. I am so tired of how this is played as Buttigieg disinformation.

    Wise words and the right tone. I like this tone. I hope we hear it more often in the future. We'll need to remember these things, in this way.

    We don’t have to and shouldn’t engage everything that seeks to engage us. Some fallacy doesn’t require your response. And injustice requires our attention, but we can be intentional, strategic and intelligent about justice work. Be wise with your energy.

    Very droppable sentiment here, next time you see a "Christian Conservative" decry Pete Buttigieg as "not being respectful." While you're at it, add a dollop of Matthew 23:27 to Pence's soul-been-sold water-carrying for this amoral administration. Just to bring the point home.

    People will often be polite to you in person, while advancing policies that harm you and your family. You will be polite to them in turn, but you need not stand for such harms. Instead, you push back, honestly and emphatically. So it goes, in the public square.

    "The field is going to be so crowded that they say ‘OK: Operation Divide the Left.’” "...the work of 'a hodgepodge. It’s a bit of an unholy alliance.'" They're not just going after three or four candidates. It's whack-a-Dem based on whichever candidate is surging at the time.

    It's an influence campaign. All the current threats are being identified and summarily attacked. Today in particular it's Buttigieg, and now apparently Stacey. Why? Based off media exposure. The agitators know that media exposure spurs searches online. It's just plain as day.
