And the iCloud content caching means that backups of iCloud library and iCloud Drive are saved locally so that when you wipe and restore an iOS device - most of the restore from iCloud backup is local network speeds. Buh-bye multi-hour and multi-day restores from iCloud backup.

This is pretty cool! Even neater is the fact that you can change the location of the cache to an external device so the cache does not consume capacity and performance on the local storage device

Wow, so cool that this is implemented! Should solve exactly what I've been griping about (though now that I have ~75Mpbs at home it's not as big of a deal)
