So pleased for my studio buddies at Edinburgh in seeing their Primark Kingston project come to completion. It is, I think, a really considered piece of contextually appropriate, high street retail architecture.

For us developing a design culture means making Scotland a place where designers feel welcome. Where high quality design is regularly commissioned + celebrated and where a National Design Programme will promote Scottish design as a cultural export.

Really good discussions surrounding a Design Action Plan for Scotland, this morning at identifying items that could be actioned immediately to support the sector. A positive direction of travel is emerging.
