@elonmusk Total first-world thing here, I realize, but it's not too late to add red brake calipers to the Performance Model 3. Please – it's a Tesla tradition now! There's really not much to tell it's a Performance.
Plus, the red calipers inside those 20" Sport wheels look

Could be an issue with adding too many things. Even the spoiler is put on at the Service center instead of them worrying about having it installed on build. After all, you can buy the red calipers via the Store for the X & S....

It’s probably not *this* simple with manufacturing, but wouldn’t the robot just reach into the red caliper pile on the assembly line for the cars tagged as Performance? In other words, it’s just a different part (in practice if not technically so), not a different process.
