Not even close. IOTA is snake oil. The idea is flawed. It does not stop Sybils nor double spends... but do waste your time on it if that makes you happy.https://twitter.com/c4chaos/status/967816902310424577 …

DaGs do not work Say it again. Directed acylic graphs are mathematically flawed. This was demonstrated in 2003 and beyond. Move on or understand you are pumping snake oil These are NOTHING like bitcoin

You said that it "was demonstrated in 2003 and beyond". Can you point me in the direction of one of these? I'd love to read up on them. Any academic papers on DAGs from 2003 or beyond that I have found do not seem to mention anything about DAG being flawed. Thanks

Looking into this further, I assume you are referencing the potential for Sybil attacks? IOTA uses PoW to mitigate against that type of attack. Each user is required to do 2 small PoW before making a transactionhttps://forum.iota.org/t/how-does-iota-confirmation-work/1972/4 …

That is what Sybils are about, you construct 1000 systems to make a single invalid TX or double spend
