I’m amazed by the number of smart, non-technical people who express surprise when I tell them IOTA is crazy nonsense.

I think that (perhaps inadvertently) IOTA has landed in kind of a ‘sweet spot’ where their claims are so ridiculous that experts just laugh and shake their head, while non-experts say ‘if it was nonsense then experts would be sounding the alarm’.

I am also 'deeply alarmed' about your compulsive 'appeal to authority'. Everytime you just say "Well X expert said something negative, so that means it's true". You've yet to find a single concrete issue about IOTA, beyond "it's too ambitious"

i don’t think that
@matthew_d_green even took the time to read the Official$IOTA Foundation response to all the ad nauseum issues that he keeps regurgitating. i guess even “trained cryptographers” are lazy readers when it goes against their narrativehttps://blog.iota.org/official-iota-foundation-response-to-the-digital-currency-initiative-at-the-mit-media-lab-part-1-72434583a2 …1 reply 3 retweets 17 likes
