There is a reason for that. I don't want to show my cards before I get a reply from one security "expert" from DCI. The point is that he demonstrated blatant incompetence, I want to show that to #LightningNetwork community, because their BTC are at risk. It's my responsibility.

I'm struggling to see how that could possibly be a blocker to answering the question about Iota's own seed generation and where you believe developer responsibility lies. Like previous "coming soon" excuses you've offered, I expect an answer will never materialise.

"I'm struggling to see..." is an argument from ignorance, isn't it?

Just answer my questions about storing and re-entering the seed generated by a wallet. If you have expertise, of course. Or make an excuse if you don't.

What questions are those? I haven’t seen any. And why is it so hard for you to answer a simple question I put to you first?

Oh, I guess you’re talking about this? https://twitter.com/c___f___b/status/955756023859568640 … Storing and entering a seed are entirely orthogonal to generating it, and don’t at all explain why your wallet would fail to provide this simple functionality.

Come-from-Beyond @c___f___bReplying to @tdryja @nic__carterYou repeat the same mistake as during Curl-P drama: cryptographic systems should be analyzed holistically. Generation of a random seed is not the end of the story. Tell us what you would do after generating a seed? How would you store it, how would you re-enter it?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

If there’s some argument that you want to make about why it makes sense to not generate seeds in the wallet, make it, instead of constantly deflecting.

I hope
@tdryja to answer, don't want to spoil. I disagree that "storing and entering a seed are entirely orthogonal to generating it", but you are like a little brother to me, so I don't want to humiliate you by explaining where you are wrong. I prefer others to think I'm wrong.2 replies 0 retweets 8 likes -
