Pretty funny, though it doesn't instill confidence in IOTA, it does the opposite. I've seen this attitude in the Bitcoin, Monero, and (to a lesser extent) Litecoin communities, three coins I'm long-term bearish on.

i’ve also seen this attitude with Steve Jobs and Elon Musk. in the end, the tech, the Team, the execution, the community, and the market, will speak for themselves.

Yes, for sure. "Rough around the edges" is fine. I just get that eerie feeling of bravado being used to compensate for a lack of competence. Time will, of course, reward whoever's right.

aside from $DASH, $IOTA is one of the most professionally run teams and Foundation in the crypto space. big companies will not participate and allow their names to be referenced if the IOTA team lacks competence. i’m speaking as someone who works for a big corporation.
