Spent some time on the IOTA subreddit today. The delusion is strong. The latest defense of IOTA is that 'it's still in development'. But, it's got an $11 billion dollar market cap and end users have large amounts of value on it. It's not a fucking testnet! Delusional. #IOTA

They why did they launch it when they knew it didn't work? That's wildly irresponsible and potentially has legal implications.
-
it obviously works that’s why big corporations are participating in the early stage of its ecosystem. I can say the same thing about Bitcoin. it doesn’t work as described in the white paper. it’s no longer a viable p2p cash system. so is it broke?
-
It *DOES NOT WORK*. Network has been down for a week. They frequently have to do whole database re-orgs. That is not working.
-
hopefully when it gets fixed, you can sell your MIOTAs at a higher price. good luck! Reddit - Iota - Transactions/network congestion to be resolved this week.https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/7jkamy/transactionsnetwork_congestion_to_be_resolved/ …

Yeah, that would be ideal. Unfortunately, I lost my chance to sell my IOTA at >$5 while BTC was still quite a bit lower at the same time; so I'll probably never get back to where I could have been.
-
You need to hold them! Don't be stupid and sell now. It grow faster and faster in 2018.
-
Why would a network which does not work 'grow in 2018'?
-
Because it WILL work. It is still in beta. And when it does, it will not end in forks and other bs what happens to blockchains again&again
