Your argument of what is a 'sensible regulation' is Estonia owning 100% control of an ICO.... that's not sensible, it's tyranny.

that’s just one example. sensible regulation = reducing friction of blockchain/crypto adoption. there will be many forms.

there will be many blockchains, DLTs. cryptos. it’s naive to think that there’s going to be one blockchain to rule them all.

I don't think there will be, & I'm very much against that ideology. '1 ring to rule them all' was the reason the ring had to be destroyed.

Lord of the Rings was about anarchy. You can't be sensible with absolute power.

tough luck. Power abhors a vacuum. there will always be nodes and super nodes of power. deal with it.

what are you even talking about? Are you saying that the US gov is a node, & we should support that super node in crypto?

i’m not saying that we *should*. i’m describing how it *could* likely happen, with our without our approval. because Power abhors a vacuum.

true. but cryptos will also not reach mainstream adoption without sensible regulations. it’s damned if you do, damned if you don’t. https://twitter.com/rogerkver/status/916691881303597056 …

sensible regulations don’t mean adding more regulations. it means embracing and adapting by retiring old regulations that no longer apply.

well, that's why I kept saying define 'sensible regulations'. When ppl say 'we need sensible gun regs' it means adding more regulations.

if you don’t want the word “sensible”, substitute “reasonable.” “reasonableness” is the bedrock of human laws.
