On/off ramps unnecessary. People can trade goods/services directly for BTC. Fiat not required. If declared illegal, goes underground

Bitcoin is not about "getting mass adoption" It's about self-ownership and self-defense

oh, really? whatever happened to empowering the unbanked? or being the "internet of money"? are those just talking points to you?

You can't have the latter without the former. Self-preservation must come first.

i agree. but the goal of Bitcoin is not self-preservation but *commerce*. see white paper "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System"

Self-sovereignty is an essential element of P2P cash. You can't exchange that which is not yours

self-sovereignty is not the goal. doesn't matter how free we are if rest of the world doesn't accept Bitcoin. ergo, mass adoption.

that's why Satoshi didn't want Bitcoin associated with #Wikileaks. he wanted mass adoption without the negativity.
