Haha I finally went through the IOTA whitepaper. It's fun, but ultimately needs more of a proving ground, haven't
$DASH yet -
$IOTA has lots of projects and partnerships. they’re just not hyping it. here’s one:https://blog.iota.org/iota-luxoft-and-st-petersburg-polytechnic-university-supercompute-the-tangle-33092417ec0c … -
I think its cool as hell, but ultimately miner rewards are useful and other tokens are more geared toward store of value from genesis.
-
$IOTA is for machines. but can used by humans too. who wouldn’t want a settlement system with zero tx fees at scale? -
Gosh, ripple practically claims 0 tx fees. It's interesting, edging is cool but it seems vulnerable by proxy botnets
-
Giving machines 0tx fees costs allow them to make infinite tx- and a network of them could easily engage to indefinite spamming.
-
it will make the Tangle stronger. and I’m sure there geniuses at
$IOTA has considered this already. -
I never hate in crypto, I just fail to invest
