are you ok with taxpayers subsidizing Amazon workers instead of Amazon paying its employees livable wages? there’s a reason you don’t hear people complaining about Costco.
is so childish about that? you are handwaving that fact that other big companies (like Costco) are already paying employees living wages, while not receiving big subsides from govt. that’s why you don’t hear people complaining about Costco.

my original point is for Amazon to pay enough (whether in wages or taxes) so that we as tax payers don’t subsidize their food stamps. what is so childish about that?

anyone who has a full time job in America should not depend on food stamps. if we have Universal Basic Income then we’ll have a different conversation. but we don’t. so my point stands.
