a solution is for companies to pay living wage to their employees (e.g. Costco does this already) or pay back the food stamp subsides to the tax payers. did you read the Intercept article? Amazon is getting subsides so that they pay living wages. but they end up not paying enough and then their employees depend on food stamps. here’s my question: do you want to pay for the food stamps as a tax payer or have Amazon pay it?
