That was my understanding from what you said, yes.

That's a misunderstanding (because of Twitter charlimit). If you take a look at https://forum.helloiota.com/627/CfB-discusses-advanced-future-IOTA-stuff-on-tanglemath … you will see that 4 days before those cited words I already said that IOTA had been planned to be network-bound.

Interesting. Is that the first time you made that revelation, or do you have something that goes perhaps as far back as June 2017 (time of Bitfinex listing)?

The first time I mentioned NBPoW in 2012 but without a connection to IOTA. Not sure when the first "revelation" happened. Google must know.

Well, your community and most of the people who invested in IOTA thought it was CPU-bound for a very long time and you didn't clarify it. Most of your community still thinks that. And they still argue it will work, even after you admitted I was right in saying it never would.

Why do they still think that despite of me telling about NBPoW?

I guess because that is how IOTA is explained in the whitepaper and IOTA NBPoW has no documentation and no one knows what it is.

That's *Tangle* whitepaper. Regarding IOTA: we have always been saying that it's lightweight and requires to burn only a very little fraction of electricity (compared to Bitcoin). We didn't mention CPU- or network-bound part because very few people understand that stuff.

I know that *you* make a distinction between the two but most of your community and investors do not. And I don't blame them, this is from the IOTA developer hub and what you find #1 result if you google IOTA whitepaper: https://iota.readme.io/docs/whitepaper "The IOTA Whitepaper"pic.twitter.com/fLIWlaWfMI

let’s apply this logic to $TSLA and @elonmusk:
- he said Tesla Factory will be like alien dreadnought
- he said full self-driving by end of 2017
- he said Model 3 production at scale by early 2018
- he said cool things that didn’t happen on schedule
is Elon a scammer?
