easy. because i don’t redefine terminologies to support my political leaning. socialism: “a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”
it’s not excusing bad ethics. it’s an opinion based on historical facts. human history is filled with violence from tribes, kingdoms/empires, to countries. you can have good governance in your tribe but it’s only a matter of time until another tribe tries to take your resources.

best way to build good ethics is to start with one’s self and grow it from there. hopefully from egocentric, to ethnocentric, to worldcentric.

Definitely agree with that. :-)

Agreed. History is a horror show. I reject the notion that our future will always be. I think we need to continue serious discussions in the realm of universal and objective ethics between individuals and tribes.

if you believe
@sapinker then we’re lucky to be alive today when violence has declined and continue to decline. although it doesn’t feel that way from the news we see everyday.https://youtu.be/E6PKFd2cuPg -
Yup. Things are getting better. Let's keep it going. I'll continue to focus my efforts on voluntary solutions that reject theft and violence. :-)
