easy. because i don’t redefine terminologies to support my political leaning. socialism: “a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”

If you pull apart that definition, you'll nothing voluntary about it. It is the subjection of the individual to the collective. It mean you have no individual freedom, only permissions.
-
the smallest unit of society—family—is a dictatorship. individual freedom is a spectrum. the highest/deepest level of individual freedom is an illusion. but hey, that’s another rabbit hole for another day

-
Families are not dictatorships. People are free to leave their family any time they want.
-
will you allow your 5-year old to leave your family just because he/she wants to? i’m referring to responsible parenting.
-
No five year old would want to leave responsible peaceful parents. That hypothetical self donates.
-
no citizen would want to leave a peaceful country ran by responsible government/governance.
-
Agreed. But so far, all governments are run irresponsibly through theft, and violence. To further the analogy, most parenting is bad parenting as well. Just not as bad, or at the scale, as governments.
-
any large group of community will have theft and violence, if not amongst themselves then amongst other communities. the best we can do is reduce suffering through good governance, or opt out of large communities and live in a sustainable tribe, in peace.

That's exactly the same as *my* definition, I just made it more succinct.
