What is and isn’t a priority is proven by actions not words. Tech in general and most startups prioritize the ‘speed’ of in network hiring (white & Asian subsets) over the diversity black and brown bring. Only conclusion is diversity isn’t really a priority at all.

Personally I don’t hate on founders that prioritize speed, but it’s sad to see those that don’t use these catchphrases like ‘embracing’ or ‘prioritizing’ diversity when the actions/data say otherwise.
