Exploding phones, the collapse of Britain and and a crazy idiot running for president of the US. Virtual reality is so immersive … oh wait.

(this is a joke about GBP so prolly only applies to UK people)

Keep hearing news reports about the ‘Flash Crash’? Finally mainstream media shines light on the terrible Adobe plugin.

-
… I feel like that is a very niche audience though. Majority of people also want to stream to their phones / computers.

I don’t think Kapeli’s blog post accurately states what Apple wanted him to do. The Apple rep on the phone call is very reasonable.
-
Me and
@apollozac recorded a new Happy Hour podcast episode a couple of hours ago. Naturally, the segment on Dash is already outdated. -
Apple were right in what they did, but wrong about how they went about doing it (i.e. not making contact beforehand)
-
What Apple said on the phone call is completely different to what Apple said in the press statement.
-
Okay I’m going to sleep before Apple retaliates with a press conference or some other craziness.
-
Innocent until proclaimed guilty through an Apple press statement sent to a technology blog.
-
Unless Kapeli replies with another blog post of its own, its stupid not to believe Apple’s account of what happened.
-
Well Dash was a beloved piece of software by many devs. Kinda feels dirty to keep using it now.
-
I realise Apple doesn’t want to give away too much but they could have listed the 25 apps the developer supposedly had.
