      Very nearly hurled my Switch across the train this morning. Awful platforming with punishing repetition if you slip, plus time limit != fun

      I suspect the trick to enjoying Sonic is to not go fast. They've built up marketing about going fast, but that's the worst way to play.

      I was a huge S1&2 fan but the reason the games went downhill was believing in the FAST thing. They were about momentum. Mania gets that.

          I've been taking all the levels *so slowly* and haven't run out of time yet. You don't need to explore all the routes, just L->R it slowly.
