Splatoon 2 is so, so good. Ranked battles totally thrilling, single player a constant revelation. Can't recommend it enough.

Is the single player different enough to the first one to recommend? I'm not a big online player, but really enjoyed the solo mode in 1
I didn't really place the first - but the single player in this is an absolute joy. And it seems pretty substantial, too.
