I mean it’s abstract mechanical language, which is “taught” often through failure, but the bloodstain recovery system is generous about preserving your meaningful progress.

It won’t explicitly teach you how things like stats work but you can kinda figure it out by the value previews when levelling up, and things like Humanity, Kindling, etc are safe to experiment with - no resource is finite other than high-level weapon upgrade materials.
