I am scared and want to go home to Australia but the Australian government are making that next to impossible. Can you please sign this petition to try and help? Thank you!

Monday 12:11pm: Our neighbour just started learning the saxophone and is mangling the Simpson’s theme. I have never wished harder for someone to be a fast quitter.

I am obsessed with these solutions for reopening restaurants. It's giving me serious Dr Who vibes:

My secret hobby is being a pet detective on NextDoor. Today, one neighbour lost two bunnies and another found two bunnies. I excitedly connected them. Job done, right? No, they were the wrong two bunnies! Bunnies, just STAY HOME!

I find it admirable that so many artists are starting projects, tutorials, live-streams, etc., but I also: 1) find it exhausting keeping track of all them 2) worry they will burn out 3) wish they would take the time to make more of their own work to inspire us (Love y’all.)

I have lived in both the UK and the US, and am always astounded when I discover words that are actually Australian (and New Zealander). Two that come to mind right now are “pashing” (making out, snogging) and “removalist” (mover).

This has got to be my most favourite thread ever. I am Australian and most of these apply to us too, but we do use the odd Americanism here and there.

Our talented illustrators have online shops of their own. Wouldn't it be great to pair their books with some artwork this gift giving season?
