The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passes the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, 417-1.
The Senate passed it last night. Now, it will go to Trump’s desk to be signed.

Aides expect Trump to sign the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act into law, but it’s worth noting that this is an extremely airtight, veto-proof show of support in both chambers. It passed *unanimously* in the Senate and with *only one* vote against it in the House.
