Senate Foreign Relations Chair Jim Risch tells me he’ll meet with Mitch McConnell alongside Marco Rubio next week to discuss the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act. He and Rubio are likely to push McConnell for information about timing for a floor vote.

For those following this: The meeting between Risch, Rubio, and McConnell to discuss the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act is scheduled for this afternoon.
Risch didn't make it because he was at the White House this afternoon. Rubio and McConnell still met. Leaving the meeting, Rubio told @tedbarrettcnn “I think we have a path forward,” but that he wants to discuss it with Risch before getting into details with the press.
At the end of the day, Rubio said, "we’re going to do something one way or another." "We’ve worked through all the substantive issues, so it’s just a question of lining everything up. I suspect we’ll move on it fairly quickly.” He said McConnell “absolutely” supports the bill.
