The fight for continues. Despite being subjected to unfriendly amendments in the senate, the bill is under attack. We still don't know where stand. Please RT/ share as we work to get this passed!

CO Dems are cowards. Won’t do meaningful criminal justice reform Won’t do meaningful LL/tenant reform. Won’t create a public health option. Won’t ban assault rifles.

No access, no justice. A review of data from over 20 cities and states found that about 81% of landlords had attorneys while only 3% of tenants did, according to the National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel.

SB 21-173 has already been substantially whittled down by industry, but it still might not make it out of a democratically controlled house committee Unacceptable we need you to take a stand for Colorado renters.

eliminate the filibuster, pass the judiciary act of 2021, expand the court. we CAN do these things—if there is real public will. call 202-224-3121 and tell your senators and reps how you feel.

A third of unvaccinated Latinos would like to get the COVID19 vaccine, higher than other unvaccinated groups. What's stopping them? Inability to take time off work and misinformation that they'll have to pay or provide an SSN.

As someone training to become a therapist, y’all recommend therapy for too many things tbh. I think the activity y’all are looking for is “revolution”.

Someone on tv just said, “when we want to incentivize rich people we give them money but when we want to incentivize poor people we take away money,” and holy fuck that’s so true.

This is so upsetting, this bill was an important step in ending the criminalization of poverty. This isn’t the time for half measures. Thank you and everyone who worked so hard to @PassSB21_062.

Why is it - that the unemployment benefits are too generous rather than the pay offered by employers too low? Pay more $ = find more workers If margins are so thin, that you cannot increase pay without passing it through/losing customers = your biz model doesn’t work

always fascinating to see the difference in discourse about people perceived as “choosing” not to work because of a stimulus payment vs people who live off of generational wealth and capital gains

Colorado's renters need Democrats to stand up for them. As goes to a vote in committee next week, we call on to give renters a fighting chance when facing eviction.

A close acquaintance of mine died from COVID on Sunday. What saddens me about her death is that she was offered the vaccine but refused because she wanted to see how others reacted.

Colorado has great voting systems that are a model for the nation. But I wish we cared as much about building an accessible and efficient safety net as we do about voting rights. Economic justice and democracy shouldn’t be separate causes, as failure in one undermines the other
