For that matter, if they gave $2.5M to the ASPCA or Red Cross for no good reason, it would still be a problem. You can't just give away a university's money b/c you feel like it.

This is a hell a story. UNC should be investigated for funding a WS org, potentially a domestic terrorist org. The article refers to a powerful faction of the SCA—it’s biker gang —as “mechanized cavalry.” I assume that’s what the biker gang calls itself.
