JUST IN: Job openings *INCREASED* in September to 10.7 million, a surprisingly strong result and up from 10.3 million in August.
The US has had over 10 million job openings for 15 straight months now.
Bottom line: The job market still looks strong. No sign of a recession there

I think they think if they keep talking about an impending recession the recession will happen.

Define job. To me (and the vast majority of working Americans) a job signifies that by spending my time at that location, i can secure a stable existence free from financial stress and save enough money to eventually retire. I wonder how many of your jobs meet that bar?

Everyone who wants a job has one. Those jobs will never be filled because the people who would fill them are lounging in the Welfare Hammock. We're in a recession and it's going to get much, much worse.
