White House is preparing a $3 trillion bill with two big parts: 1. Infrastructure & clean energy $$ (Roads, highways, bridges, charging stations, green R&D, housing) 2. "Care economy" (Pre-k; childcare $, free community college) https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2021/03/22/infrastructure-biden-drug-reform/ … via @JStein_WaPo

We just did a bill for that. This will take months of working through Congress and entails years of investment, so it will fuel US growth for years to come, post-COVID.

the federal government creates money. there is always enough money. there are not always sufficient real resources. so, the valid question is "would this strain real resources and cause economic problems?" the answer to that is "no"

You do get that this will generate lots and lots of jobs which will be an economic stimulus, rather than just throwing money into the stock market. And with inflation still under 2%, this is the least of our worries. Also our infrastructure is at third-world levels. Pathetic.
