    Great to see you at the Thanksgiving 8K, ! We are also working on physical activity directed health coaching for patients with cancer receiving chemo, transplant, or cell therapy (and caregivers!) - more to come in 2020!

    You know it, I know it, and now another study points us in the same direction: physical activity has benefits—lots of them.

    Hematologist has been a wonderful source of information for me - full of useful, succinct content. Different modes of effective information dissemination exist besides traditional sources - as I’m sure all of us on Twitter would acknowledge

    Thanks... FYI- as EIC of Hematologist can vouch that we work hard to ensure the journal keeps ASH members abreast of scientific/clinical/political/funding issues. If you have suggestions for improving the publication- happy to hear them.

    So I wrote an op-ed in about surprise billing I hate it. I Its a moral corruption of our profession Yes its complex. Yes there are times when insurers don't negotiate in good faith But often surprise billing is a business model. And it undermines trust in doctors

    I’ve found that a one size fits all approach risks missing opportunities to help the least fit and/or most fit. We are doing individualized coaching with dynamic home based exercise prescription to accommodate heme patients of all ages, with good results.

    In response to “how much exercise should we recommend for pts?” acknowledges barriers to an older pt starting exercise; reframe to decrease sedentary behavior may improve chances of success. would love your thoughts!

    No longer any question that frailty and function impact clinical outcomes and QOL in hematology, as seen at . But this is not just a issue. Need development of tools in clinic AND for home-based monitoring that can be used in practice for all.
