Sorry to hear about the trouble. Just to confirm, have you tried uninstalling the app, restarting the device and reinstalling the app? Also, make sure you're using the most updated version of the app. Keep us posted.

Yes, all of that. The problem seems to exist with multiple devices, so it is more likely a protocol problem than a device issue. As I say, Netflix is rock solid. I can go to the store and come back and it knows what the chromecast is doing.
