Those of us who were adults, (I was 28 on 9/11,) and protested, marched, wrote letters to the editor, called our reps to oppose it, if we were publicly vocal, we were called traitors, anti-American, and harassed. Afghanistan and Iraq, Jingoism was wielded like a club against us.
