I've reported this to @acccgovau. This kind of shady business practice might work in other countries, but we have consumer rights in Australia and you've just violated several of them.

What's the issue?

Big thread on Reddit going over the details, but basically misleading advertising. Paid users will no longer get all new features going forward, as they're adding some under a subscription model without grandfathering paid users onto that. They explicitly stated "one-time fee".

Fair enough. I personally have no issue with the fact that circumstances change. Such is life, and we never paid much for it in the first place. I appreciate users were promised one thing and are now getting another, but for me personally... shrug. 'twas a foolish promise, tho.
