May I ask an honest question? What about Christians who married too young, or the wrong person, or married before they were Christians, and are now extremely unhappy, but feel they must stay married simply because? What do they do? Not a trap. Honest question.

I clearly don’t know you at all but can kind of relate. Assuming you are safe in your situation (no abuse or threat of harm or other means of harmful manipulation) I would encourage you to seek counseling for self or both, and the book of Philippians.

I'm not married. No desire to. But a dear friend of mine is, and is miserable, for decades now. As is the wife. And he stays married simply because he believes that divorce is a sin. You can't pray that away. And it just doesn't seem right.
