    I think one of the funniest moves of 20th Century theologians was to deny impassibility as Greek nonsense, while at the same time claiming that all wrath language was either accommodation or projection.

    You often hear “Christians divorce just as much as broader culture,” but once you control for church attendance (vs just calling oneself Christian) those numbers drop radically by 30-50%

    Harvard researcher, Tyler J. VanderWeele, found regular church attendance strongly decreased risk of divorce and suicide.

    My son has parked his bike by this lamppost just about every day for the last year. This morning, this sticker had appeared. Absolutely made our day. People can be so brilliant. Thank you, whoever did it 😊

    "What does the gospel have to do w/ social justice?" The question reveals the problem. By definition, the gospel is the good news of the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:43), which is bringing shalom as far as the curse is found (Is. 9:6-7; Col. 1:19). (1/2)
