Essential businesses... But no "Essential Relationships"? Gov gave work exemptions, trips to grocery store. People are sad that Guidelines caused: loved ones died alone (not allowed hospital visitation) can't give proper funeral for loved ones can't see new babies born

2) I'm not saying that the Guidelines shouldn't be followed, and if this tweet is pounced upon with unnecessary rudeness, I will delete it. What I'm saying: No matter what we think about the health crisis, here is a fact that we may have feelings about- Government decided.

3) Government decided, when human contact needs to be restricted, which things are Essential. We may agree with their choices. We may not agree. Does it matter? We don't get to choose. Loss of freedom is sad.

4) Last time I tried to express empathy for our loss of freedom, someone snapped at me- someone who has never interacted with me before. Why? I am following the Guidelines. I am not stupid or endangering others. I am merely stating facts. People HAVE lost freedom.

Unsettling times, here's another fact: We've been lied to. Proven. What have we been lied to about? Well, there's been retractions when caught, or "walking back" statements. I don't want to get off track onto that- My point is- lied to once, twice, how many times? Trust?

6) 30 more days... the world doesn't stop turning. Life goes on. I hope reasonable solutions and compromises can be reached for Essential Relationships so that loved ones do not die alone in hospitals, new babies are seen and held, funerals are still possible, etc...

7) Loss of freedom is a very significant thing. I don't understand the anger coming from people who don't want us to talk about this. We are not breaking Guidelines. We are not criminals. We just want to talk about why we are on house arrest and some have lost their jobs.
