    In a written question from earlier this week, it was reiterated by MHCLG that “most new building is inappropriate in the Green Belt and should be refused planning permission unless there are very special circumstances.”

    It was great to speak to in Moorside this morning where he talked about the importance of the green belt and why Bury needs a local plan. A Conservative council would fund the creation of a local plan, and has pledged to not build on the green belt here in Bury 🌳
