    Lastly, please be aware of what are known as dark patterns with these popups. I've seen a good many sites make the "Save" or "Confirm" button gray while there's another "Accept All" that is green. Sites would prefer you accept all (DON'T!). Stay alert and protect your info! 2/2

    If the popup doesn't have all of the greedy ad/tracking cookies deselected, you can do this yourself. Only accept the ones you have to in order to browse the site without issue. 2/3

    LifeProTip: When you visit a new site in your web browser and the cookies popup comes up, NEVER HIT "Accept All", instead, select the "Choose" or "Customize" button. 9 times out of 10, it'll deselect all of the greedy cookies for you and then you can hit "Save" or "Confirm" 1/3

    I'm making a rule for myself. If I see a "shocked face" thumbnail on a YouTube video, I'm telling YouTube to not recommend that channel to me ever again. I'm doing my part to kill this trend off as quickly as possible.

    This is definitely accurate. Every game developer in Montreal is getting poached, VC money is raining all over the place, and as AAA studios push staff to go back to the office, many are saying "lol no cya." Companies are going to have to be flexible to hold onto their people

    I see a lot of comments online about how Blizzard is bleeding Senior developers left and right but I’m here to tell you that…. ALL AAA studios are. It’s not some weird conspiracy, even if people are trying to cast it in that light.

    I actually think this had something to do with NAS/networked storage drives I had mapped on my computer. They had become disconnected and were holding up the explorer.exe processes for file browsing

    Anyone else using Substance Painter on Windows have an issue using the file dialog window? Stuff like creating a folder, changing a folder name, etc. hangs the application for 10-15s. Only happens in Painter (I'm using v. 2021.1.1)
