Ah, thank you. I was using \d to explicitly target numbers, and \w for alphabetic characters. Gonna fix it later in my program (I'm always glad to be able to reduce regex size).
Some day soon, I'll be releasing a CLI tool that will make learning these sorts of facts about regexes much easier. If you're curious, you can use the `regex-debug` tool inside the `regex` repo today, but it isn't particularly polished.
