I think I may have just fully recreated my MacOS/Linux dev environment on Windows and I'm kinda freaking out a bit.

Have you now? I'm infinitely curious on how you dealt with the keymap situation and how you managed to find a decent Terminal app in the windows world? I managed to fix the keymap issue in Linux at least to align with macOS.http://kinto.sh

I have an ergodox so I just actually remap the keys. Using a combination of cmder and msys2 I get almost perfect recreation of my environment. Hopeful wsl2 will take it fully there. Some things aren’t perfect with msys2 (like I can’t use ripgrep).

There’s just not a package for it in msys2’s pacman and I haven’t bothered to attempt to compile it.

Compiling should be easy if you have Rust installed. Otherwise, I provide Windows executables that you can download and should just be able to run as is:https://github.com/BurntSushi/ripgrep/releases/tag/11.0.2 …
