Heh. I asked as I have ASUS (2012) with Intel and nvidia and the time to change is near. Then I wanted dual-boot Win7/Linux (Ubuntu). It didn't work and I use mainly Win and VM with Linux. On the other hand, for work I have T530 with nvidia and... FreeBSD. :)

Nvidia is a requirement for me: I develop a graphical client for Second Life, and Intel just won't cut it...and I've had much better luck with Nvidia than AMD. The Oryx Pro does great.

I don't game, so I don't need it. In my desktops, I've been using AMD cards for well over a decade without incident to drive multiple monitors.
