Loving GitHub Actions. Just converted my first repo over to it: https://github.com/BurntSushi/bstr/actions … --- The docs for it are pretty impressive given how new it is.

Still waiting on something out of the box that supports github deploys though. Looks like I could probably write the Javascript action to do it myself, but I'm not that eager.

Where is this 'echo "##[add-path]$HOME/.cargo/bin"' documented? I've been struggling to figure this out.

Hah, yeah, that's not documented. I only figured it out by sleuthing around here: https://github.com/actions/toolkit/blob/99d3ad0a6473e7e7906681627a450150a772ee1d/packages/core/src/command.ts#L32-L75 … --- It looks like you can issue directives to the CI system just by printing certain strings to stdout.

I just discovered https://github.com/hecrj/setup-rust-action …, an analog to the setup-node and setup-go actions for rust

Looks like it could use a windows contributionhttps://github.com/hecrj/setup-rust-action/blob/master/src/rustup.ts#L13 …

Honestly I don't think the docs are that good just yet. I liked the hcl based approach quite a bit more as well. Also I ran into an unresolved issue where you have a matrix with only explicit includes which just doesn't work right now. Could be improved, I guess.

RE matrix: yeah hit the same thing: https://github.com/BurntSushi/bstr/blob/c8cb555c824241565f87088831fddef4248ede79/.github/workflows/ci.yml#L15-L17 …
