Right, yeah, I think that's what I meant by there being some design space in the ecosystem for something exactly like that. :-)

I have been thinking about doing this due to my own rand experiences, and I have some ideas, but due to other work I haven’t got further than squatting a crate name yet

Anywhere but twitter. :-) I think the quickcheck issue is fine, since it provides a motivating use case.
