I'm still using ack-grep and people were teasing me about that five years ago. What are the cool kids using for local source grepping these days?
Yes it does. `rg --files -g '*.py'` works. So does `rg --files | rg foo`. Bundle either into an alias if you want something shorter.

Thanks for chiming in! I did read the issue where you helpfully lay out the options (https://github.com/BurntSushi/ripgrep/issues/91 …), and I fully respect the decision to build a better grep, not also a better find, but undoing that habit or carrying an alias w/ me everywhere is hard for an old brain.
