I finally fully switched from The Silver Searcher to ripgrep. It's got to the point where it's noticeable better on almost everything.
Out of curiosity, what made you make the full jump? Or what was holding you back before?

It was mostly inertia and occasional tiny unexpected behaviours everytime I tried it. What made me make the full jump was the fact that with recent version I not only get shorter search time consistently, but especially I get shorter first result which is amazing! Thanks!

Muscle memory was the big one for me. Now I also keep a zoekt index up-to-date every few days when I remember for larger searches.

FWIW, 'rg' is slightly easier to type than 'ag'. Only surpassed by my favorite command of all time 'hg' (mercurial) which was the best ever!
