In systemd 239 and older, I used `DefaultLimitNOFILE=999999999` to increase my FD limit. In systemd 240, it prevented me from logging in (login timeout at a console tty). Using `DefaultLimitNOFILE=524288` fixed it. Guess how long it took me to figure that one out? Oof.
