This is a first for me - tried recording a forecast analysis video for Tropical Storm Fiona.
Naturally there is a *lot* to improve upon from my first attempt if I'm going to get better at this, so any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Objectively speaking, this video is *nowhere* up to par with other meteorologist forecast videos - certainly not up to 's excellent quality.
As with anything else, it'll take a lot of time & practice to improve these videos - hopefully my next one is better!

I also debated whether to post this publicly... and ultimately decided to do so, as admittedly anxious as I felt about doing so.
This is certainly far outside of my comfort zone - but some of the best advice for growth I got was "get comfortable with being uncomfortable."

Thanks Zack! I definitely have a lot of work to do — namely the delivery, which hopefully won’t be as fast the less nervous I get — but more practice always helps!

I’m a musician so I’ll give you my initial observational thoughts on your vocal track: a bit rushed. Relax! I have no idea what you’re recording with mic wise but the overall sound is a tad abrasive and “S”y. So perhaps back off the mic a little bit. Otherwise, you did great!

Thanks for the honest feedback! I 100% agree - I definitely felt nervous recording this, and I'm using my laptop's mic so naturally it's not the best (I'd get a better mic if I were to do this regularly). Hopefully more practice helps with the pace!

Thanks Luke! I figure I’ll have to do a lot more work on the delivery (namely pace lol) to get it just right, but like everything it’ll take practice!
