Asked if there’s changes to Jan. 6 commission proposal he could support, McConnell says commission would add “nothing new” to ongoing investigations and is “purely political”
Conversation
Democrats want to “litigate the former president into the future. We think the American people going forward and in the fall of ‘22 ought focus on what this administration is doing to the country”
“A purely political exercise that adds nothing to the sum total of information”

McConnell's calling Manchin and Sinema's bluff... interesting. I mean, he's probably right - they're both just gonna say "we tried 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️"

We think Mitch McConnell never met a lever he couldn't pull that might increase his own power, so there's that.

The public must be shown the arc of McConnell’s treachery; give us a timeline, .
From refusing to warn the public about RUSS threat in ‘16, to thwarting impeachment & blocking removal, to giving Trump cover for the Big Lie. Now he normalizes the overthrow of democracy.

P.S. McConnell has top-level security clearance, and the notion that he didn't know who his own party's presidential candidate was connected to is laughable.
That's likely how witting they have been about this treason.
