#JusticeRoberts should go out on a limb & assert more authority. If #MoscowMitch wants to contest it, then let him. Even though it's not stated in the Constitution, what role the Chief Justice plays, I think our Founding Fathers intended he do more than read Senator's questions.

Really, why is the CJ needed just to read questions, surely it was thought he would probably act like some kind of Judge or something, hell GOP could of got any one of their Monkeys from DOJ or the House to read, if they could find one that can read.

Smart move. She knows delegitimizing his court is one of his big fears, since it is his legacy. She is not-so-subtly telling him that he needs to use his authority to call witnesses.
