    9 years ago, today, Jennell Jaquays and I did a 3 1/2 day road trip from Atlanta to San Francisco. Hard to believe it was that long ago. Here’s to nine more years!!!

    Finally, things are back to normal and I’m back at my desk, working. Hard to believe just a week ago, we were freezing in a cold bedroom with no heat in the dark.

    Even though our lights flickered from time to time, we had power throughout the night. It appears the power problem is behind us. We consider ourselves lucky. While we still don’t know the damage done to the pool. Hugs to everyone who reached out to use to offer us aid.

    And it’s gone... we had power for 2 hours. At least the house got heated so we will be warm for a few hours before we have to snuggle in the bed again.

    After 52 hours, the power came back on. We are recharging our phones and running the heater and nothing else. We are assuming we could lose power at any moment

    Power is still out (45 hours), we likely have some frozen pipes, pool froze over. My homeowners insurance and I will be having a discussion with the power company over this
